Our Story

Mac Banana began as a humble roadside banana stall on the sun-drenched South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. In 2004, our family took a leap of faith, leaving Johannesburg to pursue a dream: to create a destination where people could shop, eat, play, and make lasting memories together.

 

What started with a few wooden tables selling bananas and homemade jams has grown into a vibrant estate with restaurants, a beloved Pancake House, boutique shopping, and over 20 adventurous, family-friendly activities. It has been a journey filled with sacrifice, resilience, and endless dedication — but one we wouldn’t change for the world.
